Pressalit was established in 1954. Today, Pressalit Group A/S is one of the leading European manufacturers of toilet seats and specialised bathroom solutions for people with disabilities.

The group includes two business areas: Pressalit - including the SaniScan product brand- and Pressalit Care. They are both pursuing individual objectives and are doing business with individual segments, but are sharing a living, fertile culture, based upon a common set of values:

In 2009, the 382 employees of Pressalit Group created a turnover of 460.3 mio DKK, primarily in the European markets. The export share is 80%.
